Dead Man's Switch holds your important documents and releases them to the people you choose, but only if you stop checking in. Regular check-ins keep everything private; missed check-ins trigger reminders, then a reviewed release.

How it works

1. Create your account

Register with an email and password protected by TOTP two-factor authentication, plus a separate check-in PIN used only for RESET — it can never view or change your documents.

2. Add documents & recipients

Upload the documents you want delivered and choose who should receive them. Everything is encrypted at rest before it's stored.

3. Check in on your schedule

Check in as often as your plan allows — from any device, using just your PIN. Checking in resets the clock; it never exposes your account.

4. Reminders, then release

Miss a check-in and you'll get reminders during a grace period. If you still don't check in, your policy governs what happens next — and any social/public release is held for human review before delivery, never sent automatically.
